Is my passport valid for Europe?

The two rules, explained

  1. It must have been issued less than 10 years before the day you enter.
  2. It must be valid for at least 3 months after the day you intend to leave.

Both must be true. If either fails, you can be refused boarding or entry — renew in good time.
